2. The AC Transit board tonight will consider cutting service by about 8 percent — just one month after it slashed service by about the same amount and diverted funds from its Bus Rapid Transit program because of its budget crisis, the CoCo Times reports. AC Transit will examine whether to reduce both weekday and weekend service, cut weekend service dramatically, or slash night service.
